FCL — full container from China
When the cargo is large, taking a whole container works out cheaper than paying per cubic metre. The container is yours alone — no mixing, no extra handling.
When FCL is worth it
When your cargo occupies a large volume, when the goods are uniform and come from a single supplier, or when security matters — a sealed container carries only your goods.
Advantages
- lower cost per cubic metre than LCL;
- no waiting for consolidation — the container runs on your schedule;
- the cargo is sealed and never mixed with other consignments;
- less handling means less risk of damage.

Frequently asked questions
Should I take a 20ft or a 40ft container? +
It depends on the volume and weight of your cargo. Tell us what you are shipping and we will recommend the most economical option.
Can I ship a partly filled container? +
You can, but if the volume is small LCL is usually better value. We will price both and you can compare.
Will I know the container number? +
Yes. The container number is shown in your account and printed on the invoice.
How much fits in a container? +
About 33 m³ in a 20ft, 67 m³ in a 40ft, and up to 76 m³ in a High Cube. The exact figure depends on how the goods are packed and shaped.
Who loads the container? +
Loading happens at the supplier and is their responsibility. We deliver the container and collect it — you confirm this condition separately when submitting the request.
