Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 August 2026
This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have. We operate in accordance with the Law of Georgia on Personal Data Protection.
Who we are
- Strong Way Logistics LLC
- Company ID: 405844742
- Address: 8 Kristofero Kasteli St., Tbilisi, Georgia
- Phone / WhatsApp: (+995) 596 01 66 88
- Email: strongwaygeorgia@gmail.com
- Website: strongway.ge
1. What we collect
We collect only the data needed to provide freight forwarding services:
- Contact details — full name or company name, phone number, email, and your preferred channel (WhatsApp, WeChat, Telegram, phone, email).
- Identification details — personal ID number for individuals or tax ID for companies. Required for contracts and customs paperwork.
- Shipment data — shipper and consignee, route, cargo description and type, weight, volume, container number, tracking code, invoices, packing lists, customs and accompanying documents, and warehouse photographs.
- Financial data — service charges, payment status, proof of payment. We do not process or store bank card details.
- Portal account data — username and password. Passwords are stored hashed only and are unreadable even to us.
- Technical data — session cookie, an activity log inside the system (who changed which record and when), and IP address for security purposes.
2. Why we process it
- Performance of a contract — receiving, transporting, storing, clearing and delivering cargo, and invoicing.
- Legal obligation — providing information to customs and tax authorities, and bookkeeping.
- Legitimate interest — service quality control, fraud prevention, and defending legal claims.
- Consent — if you submit an enquiry on the website we will reply and send you a quotation. You may withdraw consent at any time.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell or trade your data. We share it only with those who need it to move your cargo or who are entitled to it by law:
- carriers and forwarding partners, rail and sea operators, warehouses;
- customs brokers and customs authorities;
- banks, for settlement purposes;
- state authorities, where required by law;
- our IT service providers, who are bound by confidentiality obligations.
4. International transfers
Because we operate on the China–Georgia corridor, shipment data may be transferred to our partners outside Georgia — only to the extent needed to complete that particular shipment.
5. How long we keep it
- Shipping and accounting records — for the period required by law (normally 6 years) for bookkeeping and tax purposes;
- Portal accounts — for as long as our cooperation continues; deleted or blocked on request;
- Website enquiries that did not lead to a contract — no longer than 1 year.
6. Your rights
Under the law you have the right to:
- find out what data we hold about you and receive a copy of it;
- have inaccurate data corrected or updated;
- request erasure or suspension of processing where there is no legal basis to keep the data;
- withdraw consent you previously gave;
- lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia.
To make a request, write to strongwaygeorgia@gmail.com. We will respond within the period set by law.
7. Security
The website and portal run over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access inside the system is role-based — each employee sees only what their job requires. Significant changes are recorded in an activity log. Passwords are stored hashed.
8. Cookies and third-party services
We use only strictly necessary cookies — to keep your session and to protect forms (CSRF protection). We use no advertising or profiling cookies.
The site loads external resources for fonts and visual libraries. When these load, your browser connects to the relevant provider, which may record your IP address.
9. Changes
This policy may be updated. The effective date is always shown at the top of the page. We will notify you of any material change.
